Since 2013, Authoring Action's Just Us has been a court-approved program. The filmmaking program takes authors through the writing process, and then adapts pieces into monologues and scripts. Authors are a part of each step of the filmmaking process from shot list to final editing.
Authors come to this program through a court-referral or judicial or personal preventive referral. Just Us programs include a 4 week Summer Intensive and 5 12-14 week sessions in the school year.
